Within the framework of the company’s permanent cooperation with the Financial Regulatory Authority, Dr. Hassan Hafez El Kosary, CEO & Managing Director of the Egyptian Financial Company for Sovereign Taskeek (EFC-ST) participated in a sukuk workshop aimed at raising awareness of sukuk as a new financing tool, at the headquarters of the Financial Regulatory Authority and in cooperation with the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) and the Islamic Development Bank Institute (ISDBI), His Excellency presented the company’s vision and mission in light of its endeavor to issue various forms of sukuk to finance projects included in the economic and social development plan in the state’s general budget, which helps in reaching a balanced sovereign financing structure at a reasonable cost which supporting the Egyptian state’s efforts to promote sustainable development.
